GP Cellulose continually invests in our operations to ensure compliance with all environmental standards that apply to our operations, from sourcing fiber all the way through the manufacturing process. GP Cellulose is committed to a sustainable fiber sourcing strategy that addresses the way we buy fiber from suppliers and from landowners (a majority of whom are family forest landowners). Georgia-Pacific's key sustainable fiber sourcing practices promote and maintain healthy forests; protect water and soil quality; encourage reforestation; and work with landowners on approaches to address wildlife habitat needs. Georgia-Pacific is supportive of all recognized certification programs, including the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI), the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and other credible forestry standards.
